The "Thai Street Vibes" event, hosted by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, was grandly held on Beijing Road Pedestrian Street in Guangzhou from August 30th to 31st, 2025. It was one of the series of celebration activities for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand.During the event, there were more than 30 Thai commodity and food booths. At the same time, a series of colorful activities were held, including Muay Thai and traditional Thai dance performances, performances by Thai new-generation artists, prize-winning interactive games, DIY workshops, Thai cooking classes, and a theme exhibition for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. These activities allowed Guangzhou residents to experience Thai cuisine, tourism, culture, art, and commodity services in an all-round and immersive way.The Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou stated in his opening speech that this event was an important part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. It aimed to deepen the understanding and friendship between the two peoples by presenting the cultural characteristics of Thailand and promoting business exchanges. He hoped that the "Thai Street Vibes" event could further promote exchanges between the two peoples in terms of mutual understanding, business opportunities, and tourism visits, and make continuous contributions to strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.
